Antonia Lofaso

Antonia's Lofaso invites you explore her inner world through the cuisine she creates. The cuisine she prepares stirs up a fascination that was born from the moment she stepped out of the suburban areas of Long Island and into the multicultural landscape and landscape of Los Angeles. Cavatellis and carnitas co-existing in the same meal is her belief. But what remains with her food is a single vision for the future and a longing to remember the historical past. Scopa Italian Roots, which Lofaso launched in 2013, has been well-received since it was inspired by her Italian roots. Lofaso has been hailed as a master of the traditional Italian dishes. The customers describe Scopa as an indispensable community staple. Lofaso provides food that is authentic, and invariably delicious. Lofaso trained under legendary chefs and absorbed their sophisticated techniques however she wasn't afraid of taking risks that were too high to be true to her own instincts. She worked with numerous stars and rose quickly through the ranks in Wolfgang Puck's Spago. In 2011, Lofaso partnered alongside Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi to open Black Market Liquor Bar in Studio City. Lofaso found her place in Black Market, and through her partnerships she has created. The partnership would allow for the creativity Lofaso desired. Black Market has no one direction in mind and is the same way. One course may begin with potatoes chips, peppers and shishto. This is followed by Korean meatballs, wings or lobster rolls. Antonia makes sure that the menu is a dazzling array of flavor. In her long career Lofaso has judged her accomplishment on the basis of her natural ability to understand her audience while remaining true to her persona. Her memorable performances in Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars was a celebration of her distinct personality outside of the kitchen and her talents are still shining in front of the camera, as an expert Judge on the CNBC's Restaurant Startup and in her recurring role on Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child as well as ABC's Real O'neals. Lofaso released The Busy Mother's Cookbook 100 Simple and Delicious recipes in 2012 in collaboration together with Penguin. It also told the story of her challenges when she was a student at an institution called the French Culinary Institute. She had a daughter, Xea also. Lofaso says that her passion for cooking is the key force behind her achievements. She is always ahead of the curve with a keen to the latest trends and fashions. She is revolutionizing her industry's design by creating chef's wear to be functional and stylish via her brand Chefletics. Lofaso insists on being true to yourself and the vision you have for your business. In order to achieve this, she's launched Antonia Lofaso Catering. The brand will provide a custom experience to customers.
