
Teri Lynn Hatcher was the daughter of Teri Hatcher. She was born in Palo Alto California on December 8th, 1964. Her mother Esther was an engineer at Lockheed Martin computer programmer, while her father Owen was an electrical engineer, nuclear physicist. Teri was born by Esther. Teri took ballet classes at the San Juan School of Dance and was born in Sunnyvale, California. She attended Fremont High School, where she was captain of the Featherettes dance team. She was voted "Most likely to be a Solid Gold Dancer." After graduating Hatcher pursued a degree in engineering and math at De Anza College and took acting classes at San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater. Teri admitted that she'd been sexually assaulted by her uncle, Richard Hayes Stone, starting at the age of 5. she assisted Santa Clara County prosecutors with their case against him following the victim, who was 14 years old, of Stone's committed suicide. Stone received a sentence in prison for pleading guilty to four counts of molestation and then he died from colon cancer in prison
